About Globe-Trotting Addicts
Where Passion for Travel Meets the Art of Storytelling
Hi, I’m Joelle Massari—a retired National Board Certified Teacher turned global explorer, travel photographer, and curator of unforgettable journeys.
My love of travel started young (there’s even a vintage photo of me in Washington, D.C. from 1983!), and it’s been woven into my life ever since. From childhood road trips with a camera in hand to international adventures with my family, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of discovering new places—and the rich stories they hold.
Today, I’m on a mission to visit 100 countries and all seven continents. I document these experiences on my travel blog, Globe-Trotting Addicts, where I blend my passion for photography, thoughtful reflections, and practical travel tips for midlife travelers and curious wanderers alike. I also work as a travel advisor, helping others plan meaningful, personalized adventures.
My travel style? Culturally immersive, a bit spontaneous, and always driven by curiosity. Whether you’re here to browse inspiring photography, read destination guides from Europe to Asia, or plan your own transformative trip, I’m so glad you found your way here.
Let’s explore this beautiful world together—One story ✍️, One photo 📸, One journey ✈️ at a time.
